Most colleges provide programs for students with disabilities that offer services to enable students to function independently in an educational environment.

The objective of these programs is to integrate students with disabilities into mainstream campus programs and activities. Contact the school administration to find out what program/department is called.

The We Connect Now website is dedicated to uniting people interested in rights and issues affecting people with disabilities, with particular emphasis on college students and access to higher education and employment issues.
The Going to College website contains information about planning to go to college with a disability. The site was designed for high school students and information is also provided for parents and school professionals.
