Who is the brain injury community?

The brain injury community includes those affected by an an acquired brain injury (ABI), more specifically those diagnosed with an ABI, their caregivers, family and friends.

For the purpose of the Brain Injury Connection (BIC), the BIC Community includes those affected by an an ABI; the staff and volunteers of brain injury and disability nonprofit organizations; professionals working directly with the ABI community; those interested in learning more about acquired brain injuries (i.e., students, employers, educators, etc.); and those preventing brain injury (safety advocates, law enforcement, etc.).
